About Kendra

Kendra Shaw grew up in Billings and moved back a decade ago to raise her family under the Big Sky. She holds a degree from the University of Montana and an MFA from the Writers' Program at the University of Michigan, where she was also a Zell Postgraduate Fellow. She's worked as a teacher, small business owner, editor & grant writer. Re-elected to Billings City Council in 2023, she continues to represents Ward 1.
